The Assistant Product Manager/Technical Designer will assist the product management team with the entire product process, from development through the delivery. Requires maintenance of detailed records, timely completion of forms and strong correspondence skills between production and customer. Includes working in ERP system, order writing, and developing/monitoring and adhering to a Timing/Action calendar to ensure all customer deadlines and requirements are met.
In addition, the position will assist the technical team from development through the production stage. Technical Job duties include conduct fit sessions, take fit notes, create and update tech packs, measure samples and work with team on strategies to solve fit and construction issues. Additional may duties include technical sketching, CAD work and evaluation of lab dips, bulk swatches and trims.
Position is FULL TIME in our Corcoran, Minnesota office.
Qualifications
Critical eye for detail and proportion
Strong measurement and technical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university OR
Degree in design field and general knowledge of clothing manufacturing and construction
1-3 years' experience in technical design, or equivalent combination of education and experience
