Program

  • Participate in resident conferences
  • Participate in annual DOM CME conference
  • Participate in residency applicant interviews

Commitment and dedication to education of resident physicians in all clinical areas

  • Maintain good relationships with all clinical educators
  • Participate in the many educational efforts of the GSM
  • Attend GMDEC Meetings

Supervisory Role

  • Assistant Director of IM Clerkship

Responsibilities for Medical Student Education

  • Teaching responsibility for med students during their IM rotations
  • Teaching and evaluation in rotations

Research

  • Participate in publishing case reports, PI/QI projects, resident presentations

Administrative

  • Attend departmental committee meetings

Basic Qualifications

  • MD, ABIM Certified
  • TN Medical License
