The primary duties of the successful applicant will be teaching accounting and quantitative business analysis courses in both the undergraduate business and on-line MBA programs. Further duties include research and institutional service. Applicants must be flexible and willing to teach both in-person and on-line, undergraduate and graduate students. Seeking applicants willing to actively engage with students and contribute to building a collaborative departmental team culture.
Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a plan of research, and a statement relating to their teaching philosophy to the University’s Catholic mission as expressed in Ex Corde Ecclesiae ( https://www.vatican.va/content/john-paul-ii/en/apost_constitutions/documents/hf_jp-ii_apc_15081990_ex-corde-ecclesiae.html ). Candidates should arrange for three confidential letters of recommendation to be submitted in support of their application. If the reference letters need to be submitted directly by the person providing the reference, please have them sent to Jeimy Ruiz, Human Resources Manager at Jeimy.Ruiz@avemaria.edu and she will attach these to your on-line application.
