Assistant Professor of Sport Management

Allen University is seeking applicants to fill a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Sports Management beginning in Fall 2024.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• A doctorate in Sports Management or related disciplines (Preferred) by August 1, 2024.

Experience:

• 1 year teaching at a college/university level. • Online teaching experience/training and/or certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative and student-centered instruction. • Demonstrated evidence of teaching contributions in teacher education, research, and supervision of interns. • Demonstrated evidence of incorporating technology in courses to engage diverse learners. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on university-wide committees. • Demonstrated ability to interact with students to support their progression to the degree and their service to the community.

Minimum Qualifications: Masters in Sports Management or related field.
