Point Dedicated Services has an opening for an Assistant Terminal Manager for its Buffalo, NY terminal. This position will supervise, direct and coordinate all aspects of terminal operations and personnel, including but not limited to:
Coordinating freight
Supervising terminal personnel
Overseeing cost controls
Communicating with customers
Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and Company policies
Onboarding new drivers
Direct Dispatching of Drivers
Qualifications:
Must have verifiable experience working in a transportation terminal
Minimum of 5 years Transportation experience
Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks according to schedule
Problem solving skills
Self-motivated by daily challenges
Ability to multi-task
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and the internet
