Base pay range
$160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Reporting into the VP of Financial Reporting, this role is a visible part of this global, reinsurance carrier with A&H, Liability and Property/Specialty Lines.
The AVP, Corporate Accounting/Reporting supports various aspects for GAAP, SEC and Investment Accounting
Manage the group and corporate accounting activities including consolidation, intercompany transactions, cash, debt and foreign exchange
Support the regional Chief Financial Officer with subsidiary and statutory reporting requirements.
Managing the development and sustainment of general ledger and reporting processes for an in-flight finance transformation.
Team with end-users to manage and develop reporting requirements for cloud-based general ledger
Provide technical accounting and financial analysis support for key group functions including investment advisory, banking, equity compensation and foreign exchange
Team with finance and accounting leaders across the globe to streamline and enhance the consistency of financial reporting processes
Support business leaders including treasury, tax, FP&A and risk management in the impact analysis for key transactions and initiatives including acquisitions and capital market transactions
Support regulatory compliance for U.S. insurance subsidiaries
Support the Environmental, Social and Governance reporting and compliance initiatives
Identify and implement opportunities for the enhanced usage of offshore resources within the accounting function
Review and maintain internal control/SOX procedures for financial reporting and other processes
Liaise with internal and external audit
