Applications are invited for the position of Associate Athletic Director for NCAA Compliance at Saint Michael's College, a private, Catholic Liberal Arts and Sciences College located in the greater Burlington area of Vermont. Saint Michael’s is an NCAA Division II institution sponsoring 21 varsity sports and is a proud member of the Northeast-10 Conference. This is a full-time (12 month) position with benefits.
The successful applicant will manage all aspects of a comprehensive NCAA (and related conferences) Division II compliance program, to include initial and continuing eligibility processing for over 450 student-athletes, and monitoring and educating students, coaches, and staff. A key member of the department’s administrative team, this person will also have some varsity sport supervision responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Serving as College’s Administrator for all NCAA DII Compliance
- Providing support and supervision for seven varsity programs
- Managing rosters of all varsity programs using Compliance Assistant and ARMS software
- Providing comprehensive monitoring program to ensure student-athletes, staff, and community members adhere to NCAA rules
- Generating all NCAA and NE10 Compliance-related reporting (GSR/ASR, Sports Sponsorship and Demographics, etc.)
- Serving as Athletic Department Liaison to Admissions, Student Financial Services, Registrar, and Academic Affairs

Requirements
Applicants should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree; a Master’s degree is preferred
- Previous experience with NCAA Compliance rules and regulations required. At least three years of direct experience working in NCAA compliance, preferably at the NCAA Division II or I level, is preferred
- Outstanding organizational, management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of constituents
- Valid driver's license and must be able to successfully pass driving record check. For criteria please see the Driver Acceptability Matrix
