About the role:

The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the rest of the Brand Marketing function, overseeing day-to-day operations, key projects/workstreams and ensuring that team members are meeting goals and targets. This role will be fluent in business performance, a functional hydration category expert, and be a highly organized steward of the brand. This role will directly report into the Sr. Brand Manager.

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Lead business, category, and competitive data analysis to identify problems, find trends, and develop hypothesis to inform strategy, campaigns, new product pipeline etc.
  • Support on project management to enable top-line sufficiency, lead reporting of commercial business performance, and development of accurate POS forecasts for demand planning at the product-line level.
  • Responsible for quarterly trend reports (macro trends, micro trends, competitive profense reporting, etc.).
  • Collaborate with in-house creative team or agency to develop creative toolkit for evergreen media.
  • Partner with CMI on consumer research, analyze consumer insights, translate into recommendations for communication strategy, product claims, new product opportunities, marketing campaigns.
  • Operate as the voice of the consumer, be in touch with trends across marketing channels, the category, culture etc.
  • Executional excellence and strong project management of key workstreams designed to grow the top and bottom line, as part of a brand strategy aligned through MLT.
  • May be tapped to support high complexity or high-volume projects in partnership with other members of the Brand team.
  • Create compelling stories and make sound recommendations about the brand, competitive, category, customer or consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and market performance.
  • Support execution of disruptive brand campaigns and product launches focused on increasing brand awareness and household penetration (based on scale of workstream).
  • Responsible for tracking and updating budget within approved allocation.
  • Operate through the lens of DEI and diversity goals.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of business experience working in a professional environment, with 1+ years of experience working in any of the following areas: retail data analytics, consumer insights, or marketing.
  • Internship at a CPG company with demonstrated success, a plus.
  • Bachelors' degree in related field, MBA preferred.
  • Interest in disruptive marketing and appetite to push boundaries.
  • Strong time & project management skills, ability to navigate complexity
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally, strong collaboration skills and positive energy.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Competency with data analytics, assessing business performance.
  • Interest in creative marketing and brand building with a proactive and inventive mindset that is forward thinking.
  • Growth mindset and coachable through feedback.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid office environment with flexibility for industry events. Travel 20-30% of the time.

The expected salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
