rag & bone is currently looking for an Associate Product Manager to support in the development and production of our Women’s Woven apparel. We are looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication and follow up skills to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

The Associate Product Manager will manage the following tasks daily.

  • Development
    • Work cross functionally with Design, Tech, and Pattern Markers to launch styles into development
    • Build styles and detailed BOM’s in internal style management system
    • Build/send seasonal factory WIP’s with clear direction for factories to proceed with sampling
    • Build and maintain seasonal Master WIP that monitors various steps in product lifecycle (development-production)
    • Ensure that all garment details are organized and communicated to factories for accurate costing
    • Facilitate the shipment of all sample materials (proto-SMS)
    • Launch seasonal trials with vendors and ensure timely delivery
    • Partner with vendors, TD and sample rooms to ensure deadlines are met for protos and SMS
    • Communicate progress/ETA’s for all samples cross functionally
    • Maintain BOM’s throughout development process with help of Assistant Product Manager
    • Review, facilitate and track pre-market SMS alterations
    • Build strong cross functional relationships with Design, Merchandising, Tech Design
  • Costing Management
    • Collect and confirm all cost sheets (proto-final bulk)
    • Review costing to ensure accuracy and work with vendors to make updates as needed
    • Enter costing into internal style management system
    • Initiate costing negotiations based on historical costing and seasonal-yearly volume
  • Production
    • Organize and lead bulk BOM meeting with tech design, design, and merchandising & ensure all aspects of bulk BOMs are accurate before sending to factories
    • Send seasonal production WIPs to factories with clear instructions to proceed with PPS
    • Facilitate the shipment of pre-production and additional sample materials
    • Closely monitor production calendar and status, including shipment of PPS, ECOM & PR samples, TOP samples, and bulk shipments
    • Work with merchandising, sales, company planning, and production fabric team to review and confirm final buys
    • Issue and maintain bulk POs
    • Communicate daily with vendors to confirm bulk x-factory dates, sample timing, and troubleshoot potential issues
    • Maintain seasonal master WIP throughout production
    • Monitor communication between raw material vendors and finished goods vendors
    • Monitor quality standards throughout production process and work with factories to improve issues
    • Troubleshoot any production issues cross functionally to find a solution
  • Non-Seasonal
    • Work with merchandising, sales, and company planning to finalize bodies and timing for non-seasonal programs
    • Send non-seasonal development/production WIPs to factories with clear direction on next steps
    • Issue non-seasonal POs for re-cut product
    • Communicate best production timing and available units cross functionally
Qualifications:

2-3 years’ experience in a related field

Highly organized.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work closely with cross functional partners.

Bachelor’s degree.

Annual Salary Pay Range: $65,000 USD - $70,000 USD
