Position:

Associate Production Manager


Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated women’s and girls’ apparel Production Associate to provide essential support to our Production Director. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process, optimizing efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively assisting the production management team in all tasks.


Responsibilities:

  1. Production Support: Assist the Production Director/Manager in coordinating all aspects of apparel production, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.
  2. T&A|WIP: Create the WIP in excel. Assist Production Director in implementing, monitoring, and adhering to the time and action calendar.
  3. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production schedules, material usage, and any deviations from standard procedures.
  4. Record Keeping | Package Management: Track, send & receive, record, and communicate in regard to lab dips, trim & bulk approvals, fit samples, PP’s, and TOP’s internally and to our factories.
  5. Technical: Attend and assist in fittings. Able to process & understand tech packs & spec sheets and spec garments as needed.
  6. Compliance: Adhere to different procedures and requirements of each retail customer accounts.
  7. Communication: Serve as a liaison between Production Director, Sales and Design teams, HQ and factories, relaying instructions, updates, and feedback as needed.
  8. Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during production, collaborating with the production management team to implement solutions.
  9. Quality Control: Conduct inspections of garments to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications established by the production management team.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in meetings and discussions focused on process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  11. Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist the production management team with any additional tasks or projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2 yrs. experience in a production support role or similar capacity within the apparel industry is preferred.
  • Must have contacts and relationships with overseas factories.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.


Working Conditions:

  • Flexible scheduling may be required to accommodate production demands, including evenings and weekends.
