Job Title: Project Manager

Position Summary

The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This role involves managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that project goals are achieved. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proven project management experience, and the ability to handle complex and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Execute project plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, providing direction, support, and guidance.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and manage their performance.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the project team and with other departments.
  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve any conflicts or concerns.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, addressing issues as they arise.
  • Ensure that risk management processes are followed and documented.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and expenditures are tracked.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project requirements.
  • Monitor project financials and ensure that projects are delivered within budget constraints.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress, issues, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices in project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive project decisions and performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle changing priorities.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges.
