Consumer Legal Group is a small start-up style law firm dedicated to delivering high-quality legal support to our clients who are in financial hardship. We strive to break down complicated and complex knowledge in an understandable way. We pride ourselves on attempting to bring equity to the legal process with a client-centric approach and a commitment to excellence. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and talented barred Attorney to join our team in a fully remote capacity advising our clients of any inquiries they may have.
You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional legal support to our clients. This client-facing position involves remote meetings and collaboration with both clients and senior attorneys. You will be responsible for meeting with our clients, answering their questions, and clarifying and offering legal advice about their case.
Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Conduct remote meetings with clients to understand their legal needs, provide advice, address and clarify concerns.
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support client cases and senior attorneys in crafting effective legal strategies if need be.
- Drafting Documents: Prepare or examine legal documents, contracts, and other necessary paperwork to support client matters.
- Case Management: Assist senior attorneys in managing case files, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior attorneys to discuss case developments, share insights, and contribute to the overall success of the legal team.
- Stay Informed: Stay abreast of legal developments, trends, and changes to ensure the provision of up-to-date and accurate legal advice.
- Communicate: Work cross-functionally across departments if need by updating others about trends, updates, cases, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; Juris Doctorate and successful completion of the Bar exam is required.
- Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related mail operation services or CRM software applications.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal files, business correspondence and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and business correspondence; ability to speak effectively, both in person and by telephone, to customers or employees of the organization.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to understand and interpret statistical reports, data charts and graphs.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend complex legal concepts and convey them clearly to clients in a compassionate.
- Strong understanding of legal concepts, procedures, and terminology. Familiarity with legal research methods and resources.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate client records.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Compensation: Starting salary range of $75,000 – $100,000 starting salary depending on state and level of experience. Our staff enjoys an internal growth model & bi-annual performance evaluations tied to compensation increases.
