Join our Audio Team! RUN Studios is seeking assistant (A2 level) audio engineers to assist lead audio engineers (A1 level) as we work together to create successful productions and memorable event experiences. We are seeking support for our team working with our corporate partners in Redmond on a project-based, contract basis. To accommodate various productions, flexible work hours will be needed at times.
The Assistant Audio Engineer (A2) partners with the Lead Audio Engineer (A1) to prepare, execute, and accomplish successful productions. Assistant Audio Engineers are responsible for managing talent microphones, talent IFBs/earpieces, routing, facilitating audience Q&A, managing equipment, and assisting audio setup. While productions are live-on-air, the A2 provides technical support to enable the A1 to continue working.

Compensation
Pay Range: $45.00 - $70.00 (Hourly)
The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

As an Audio Engineer (A2), You Will
- Assist with event setup
- High-level knowledge of routing for assigned productions and ability to troubleshoot with A1
- Talent microphone management and placement
- Talent IFB management and placement
- Microphone and line signal checks
- Radio frequency integrity monitoring
- File conversion and management
- Light engineering and mixing
- Occasional sound editing
- General equipment maintenance
- General understanding of live production workflows
- Ability to be organized and focused on driving production ready tasks
- Self-motivated, bias for action
- Ability to take ownership of assigned projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Unyielding dedication to customer service and customer satisfaction
- Strong organizational, multitasking and troubleshooting skills
