Jackson Healthcare, a top 3 national healthcare staffing, search, and technologies firm located in Alpharetta, is seeking an Audio Visual (AV) Intern to assist our technology team!

Are you pursuing an Information Technology or Audio Visual career and looking for an internship experience to supplement courses you may be taking? Jackson Healthcare, located in Alpharetta, is offering an exciting paid AV Internship opportunity!

As an AV Intern you will assist our AV & Collaboration Platform Engineer and Support Team with Conference Room and Event setup and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be an excellent communicator who can earn a client’s trust by employing fast-thinking problem solving skills, work well under pressure, and be familiar with AV Basics and popular platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. You must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision to provide excellent customer support during meetings and events.

Description

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various meeting types in different conference room settings
• Troubleshoot issues before and during meetings and events
• Work with the Support Center to assist with incidents and requests
• Make recommendations to customers as it relates to event setup
• Assist the Desktop and Mobility Team during low-event days

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Zoom
• Understanding of Basic AV functionality (Cameras, Mics, TVs, Projectors, additional hardware and software)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Work well under pressure and in front of an audience
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Familiarity with our industry is a plus

Requirements & Working Conditions

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 100% in-office, 3-4 days per week (up to 28 hours)
• Weekdays, hours 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Position offered through Dec, 2024 with potential to extend
• $15/Hour
• Flexible schedule will be determined in conjunction with your manager
