Audio Visual On Site Support Specialist

So, what are we looking for?

We are looking for an Audio Visual On Site Support Specialist who can work in our clients' facilities in Memphis, TN. We are looking for someone whose attitude, skills, and work ethic will embody our mission “to provide a fantastic customer experience.” Somebody who is passionate about Audio Visual, whether you are the go-to expert in your home, school, or church, and can always find a solution to any AV problem. We will provide the necessary training, support, and work environment to help you succeed. What are your responsibilities?

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with the following:

Customer Service

  • Meet with clients (event organizer or end user) to understand specific audiovisual requirements.
  • Be the Primary point of contact for all audiovisual equipment and videoconference needs.
  • Provide audio-visual consultation for designing and implementing video conferencing technology.
  • Test video conferencing equipment in different environments (development, clone, and production) to enhance A/V standards.
  • Assist end users with help and questions about using the technology when required.


Administrative

  • Review and update design standards and documentation as needed.
  • Follow the defined ordering process for the replenishment of conference room equipment supplies as necessary.


Maintenance & Repair

  • Partner with other teams to work through issues that are caused by implementation in a large enterprise. Review industry documentation, implement software changes for security vulnerabilities, and work with vendors when trouble shooting or investigating bug/bug fixes.
  • Assist with Q-SYS programming requirements.
  • Provide a suitable short-term solution if needed to an audiovisual equipment failure

Does experience count?

Preferred but not required:

  • Minimum 2 years installing/maintaining AV systems
  • Education: Associates degree, we take into account your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual.
  • Customer Service Experience: A must! As you can see our customers are #1 and we need someone who can take care of them, and treat them as such.
  • Attitude and Aptitude: Are key! We need someone who is eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation.
  • AV/Live Event Experience: Must have experience supporting, implementing, and maintaining video conferences.
