General:
Symphony Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced an Audio-Visual Engineer. This candidate will work as a member of a team, to provide Bill of Materials, Submittals, and Design Oversite for our many exciting projects. The ideal candidate loves a challenge and enjoys learning but also has the experience to help drive the company forward. The candidate should have experience with Program/Commissioning of AV systems to include AMX, Biamp, Control 4, QSC, Extron, and/or Crestron. Additional experience in Previous Low Voltage experience with following systems AV, Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access Control is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Create product submittals based on job provided specifications and contracted drawings.
- Create and modify Bill of Materials based on job specifications including obtaining vendor quotes.
- Support sales and estimating staff to ensure a fully functional and cost-effective solution is provided to the client.
- Create and maintain AV functional line diagrams and rack elevations.
- Perform QA/QC of Shop drawings for AV functionality
- Create programming narrative as part of the submittal package to include GUI interfaces for client approval.
- Attend site visits for use analysis and commission assistance as needed.
- Program/Commissioning of AV systems to include AMX, Biamp, Control 4, QSC, Extron, and/or Crestron.
- Provide mark ups or design oversight to the CAD/Design team for shop drawings, sketches, or details.
- Work with clients and customers on design build or design assist projects.
- Perform site walks with Project Manager or Foremen to review quality of work and trouble shoot systems as need.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5-10 years of Audio Visual Engineering experience.
Industry certification (CTS, BICSI, RCDD, CTS, or other)
Manufacture certification is a plus.
Experience using Bluebeam software
Experience working in the following realms a plus: Government, Municipality, Transportation, Commercial, Sports and Entertainment.
Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company
Ability to pass background checks for access to sensitive projects (government, military, aviation, etc.

- Must be able to work from the Marietta office 5 days a week.
