About the Company

Our client is a prominent Global leader dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences with over 1,000 subsidiaries and affiliated brands. With a commitment to innovation and personalized service, they are seeking an Automation Developer to join their team immediately.


They are currently seeking an Automation Engineer with contact center omni-channel automation strategies experience to support North American and international clients. This key person will focus on defining, developing, and implementing AI-driven omni-channel self-service experiences within the NICE Enlighten XO AI environment.


This role will work closely with the development team, particularly on traditional omni channel platforms and coding. The candidate will be instrumental in driving automation efforts from a bot perspective.


This is a contract role that offers a remote work schedule!


Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced automation and self-service solutions for digital and voice channels.
  • Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) to build guest-facing applications.
  • Work with Contact Center IT staff to ensure seamless integration between legacy IVR/chat flows and self-service BOT flows.
  • Build and support API integrations between BOTs and backend systems.
  • Participate in planning and design sessions with various cross-functional teams.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and follow best practices for change control.


Experience:


  • At least 3 years’ experience work in a Contact Center as a Service
  • Understanding contact center ACD (Automatic Call Distributor) systems, IVR (Interactive Voice Response), and virtual assistant configurations is essential.
  • Expertise in contact IVR routing and omni-channel flow development.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Chatbot Technologies – Preferably with NICE, specifically the Amelia AI product, though experience with Genesys, 8x8, or Five9 is also acceptable.
  • Strong background in designing and automating AI-powered bot workflows.
  • Integration experience between third-party applications and backend systems.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain collaborative relationships across diverse technical teams and non-technical business units.
