AV/Systems Technician

Base pay range
This role would assist our Implementation team with installing AV equipment for our client sites.
We are not looking for an AV "operator" type who has worked live events projects or broadcasting. We need someone with an AV systems background who's knowlegable with Bitmap, Crestron, etc. Comfortable reading diagrams to know where to terminate cables. Experience and comfortable with video over IP, audio DSP's, etc. Must have a networking background in the IP space, able to load and configure software and understand electronic drawings to locate things throughout the court rooms.
Ideally, the individual would have general handyman capabilities and an appreciation for the mindful handling of AV equipment such as microphones, touchscreen displays, HD cameras, routers, switches, misc electronics and T.V.s.
Comfortable with hand tools and ladder work, ability to lift 50 pounds.
Mounting of hardware:
- Cameras
- Adjustable arm monitor mounts, some drilling and desk cutouts may be required
- Mounting large displays, up to 85”
- Minor technical tasking to include plugging in cameras and various connectors
- Securing and mounting microphones to desks and walls
- Moving/transporting tools and inventory from warehouse to jobsite
