AV Tech Lead (Audio Video Tech Lead)

Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Audio Video Technology Lead is responsible for all AV needs and activities for Acadia Healthcare. The Audio Video Technology Lead will support all conference room AV equipment along with AV activities out in the field. The Audio Video Technology Lead must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented and patient and provide white glove service to VIP’s in high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all AV needs at the corporate office.
  • Serve as the first point of contact to produce live events.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, deploy, and support audio and video equipment, including cameras, microphones, speakers, displays, mixers, and other peripherals.
  • Develop and implement best practices for audio and video systems in accordance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to determine audio and video system requirements and solutions.
  • Design, install, and maintain audio and video systems for a variety of environments, including traveling systems.
  • Assist and support executive staff members with video conferencing needs, questions, and issues.
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information.
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
  • Maintain skills by attending related training and performing research.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Other IT support or IT administrative tasks as needed.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Evening and weekend off hour activities as needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience in supporting, leading, managing AV technologies in a full-time capacity.
  • Experience in administering video conferencing products such as Zoom, RingCentral, Blue Jeans, TEAMS, etc.
  • Experience in high pressure situations/environment supporting VIP’s.
  • Knowledge of digital audio and video standards
  • Knowledge of audio and video cabling standards.
  • Knowledge of video room systems
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Hig hly organized and resourceful, must have the ability to create and maintain systems to leverage knowledge and available information .
  • Ability to operate tools, components, peripheral accessories, and research technology relating to field.
  • Exceptional ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to train, explain and impart knowledge to others.
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
  • English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
  • Experience with vMix and live video feeds

Physical/Mental Requirements

  • Must be able to perform essential functions listed on the job description, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to support after hours, weekend and holiday work as required to perform system maintenance functions.
  • Must be able to sit and stand, intermittent 8 to 10 hours a day.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment, including the telephone and computer keyboard.
  • Continuously works under pressure of near 100% accuracy while meeting inflexible deadlines.
  • Continuously utilizes manual/bi-manual dexterity, near vision, speech, and hearing.
  • Frequently stands, walks, sits and utilizes eye/hand coordination and color definition.
  • Occasionally reaches above shoulder, regularly required to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel up to 30% including flying and driving rental cars.
  • To accommodate travel, must be able to transport own suitcases and computer estimated at 35 pounds.
