Azure Network Architect/SME (Remote)
Our client is looking for an Azure Network Architect.The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and knowhow to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team. As an Architect of our highly experienced technical team, you will be helping to deliver cutting edge solutions for our clients.
Mandatory Skills - Must be proficient in: CheckPoint, Cisco ASA firewalls, F5 WAF, Azure Cloud, Routing, Network architecture, Designing Intermediate Palo Alto, F5 LTM, AWS Cloud, Routing, DNS Solutions, Knowledge ITIL, Datacentre, Certificate Management
Skills Required
Architect level knowledge in Azure cloud
Architect level knowledge in Enterprise network
Deep understanding on Data center hosting, design and Security
Expert level knowledge various network connectivity on-prem and cloud
Deep understanding on BCP/DR solutions
Expertise in firewall technologies especially on Cisco ASA / Firepower firewalls
Expertise in F5 and Azure Load-balancer
Expertise in Routing, Switching
Expert knowledge in WAN , LAN
Expertise in Site-Site and AnyConnect VPN
Good understanding on voice technologies like Cisco voice solutions, BroadSmart voice solutions
Expertise in various proxy solutions like Zscaler
Well experienced on tools like SolarWinds, Splunk
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of ITIL processes.
Responsibilities/Tasks
Participate, partner, and collaborate with SME's, system administrators, database administrators, internal and external vendors to understand their requirements and provide viable solution.
Troubleshoot and provide proactive support for production and non-production network services , ensuring full compliance of the Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Work with little to no supervision, assign work to, mentor and engage work of less senior staff.
Responsible for providing project details, standard operating procedures, setting standards and policies around network design and operations.
Work requires the customary and regular exercise of discretion and independent judgment.
Analyse complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites, and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges and other devices.
Resolves difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all network platforms.
Supports acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services.
May act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership for lower-level employees.
Participates in and may lead groups/committees related to processes, standards, and best practices.
Investigates and analyses resource utilization and prepares reports.
Optimizes the network infrastructure to maintain the highest possible level of performance and security.
Plans for the replacement of obsolete resources that make up the enterprise network infrastructure.
Recommends new firmware and hardware that provide new features/functions and prepares documentation to support recommendation of new firmware/hardware.
Conducts appropriate, routine tests to ensure the proper working condition and security of developed and purchased software/hardware.
Coordinates and schedules initial installation of new equipment or reinstallation of relocated equipment.
Maintains an up-to-date technical and practical knowledge and understanding of system testing and analysis.

Recommends improvements and changes to methods and procedures.
