General Summary of Job Duties: Bar Porter is responsible for ensuring that the beverage bar is maintained, cleaned, and stocked with cleaning supplies. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service and maintain cleanliness of the beverage bars and the surrounding area, in addition to assisting with inventory management and ensuring that the bar area is both well-organized and visually appealing.
Principle Responsibilities And Duties
Adheres to safe and sanitary cleaning procedures according to Silverton Casino, LLC, and Southern Nevada Health District standards.
Identifies and notifies Shift Steward, Assistant Executive Steward and/or Executive Steward of any unsafe conditions or areas, machinery that require attention or repair when as well as when materials and chemicals require restocking.
Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, and other bar appliances.
Acknowledges, greets, and converses with customers who approach the bar.
Maintain correspondence with Bartender and Apprentice Bartender.
Properly and safely utilize assigned equipment.
Adhere to safe and sanitary work habits regarding workstations and equipment in accordance with Silverton Casino, LLC, and Southern Nevada Health District standards.
Must understand and adhere to the safe handling, usage and storage of all chemicals used during the performance of job duties.
Provides courteous and courteous service to internal and external guests.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education & Other Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
Friendly and positive attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
