Title: Basis Cloud Migration Consultant

Overview:

Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an SAP-based system and the Department of the Navy's (DON) financial and supply information technology system of record. Having completed deployment implementations, the program is now in its sustainment phase, focusing on expanding and improving functionality. The Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (PEO MLB) PMW 220 provides sustainment services, including lifecycle management, stabilization, optimization, and audit readiness.

Position Title: Basis Technical Consultant - Senior

Position Description: We are seeking a Basis Cloud Migration Consultant to evaluate programmatic data, resolve inconsistencies, design and implement middleware environments, manage availability and performance of middleware systems, and support and manage interface systems connectivity.

Required Skills:

• IT Administration Experience: 10 years (2+ years with webMethods Integration Server installation, patching, tuning, and support)
• Linux Server Administration: Installing, patching, and supporting applications
• Middleware Management: Supporting and managing multiple environments (webMethods, MQSeries, Tivoli, SFTP)
• Middleware Components Management: Managing middleware components (webMethods, WebSphere MQ, etc.)
• System Connectivity Support: Supporting interface developers and assisting with system connectivity
• Cloud Migration Experience: Required
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline. Four additional years of SAP Basis or equivalent COTS experience may substitute for a degree.
• Federal Experience: Required
• Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance
• Certifications: Security+ and RHEL

Primary Job Duties:

• Middleware Patching, Upgrades, and Tuning: Prepare and execute activities (30%)
• Incident Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve middleware incident tickets (25%)
• System Operation Analysis: Perform analysis on system operation issues and make remediation recommendations (20%)
• Documentation: Document application/system processes and procedures (15%)
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor application/system performance and logs (10%)
