About The Senior Data Analysis Task Lead
The Senior Data Analysis Task Lead/Manager will oversee the data analysis and reporting activities under Task 5. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, statistical analysis, and reporting tools. The Data Analysis Task Lead/Manager will coordinate with the OCC, T&TA team, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection, validation, and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of data analysts. They will be responsible for overseeing data validation, conducting complex data analyses, and developing reports and dashboards. The Senior Data Analysis Task Lead/Manager will also ensure the effective use of data to inform program decisions and improve data quality across the CCDF program.
Key Responsibilities Include:
This is a remote position, located in any of the fifty United States or Washington, DC. BCT Partners works primarily on Eastern Time, though we do have staff in all four time zones. We support and encourage a strong staff community, leveraging virtual communication tools and collaborative work practices. About The Senior Data Analysis Task Lead
The Senior Data Analysis Task Lead/Manager will oversee the data analysis and reporting activities under Task 5. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, statistical analysis, and reporting tools. The Data Analysis Task Lead/Manager will coordinate with the OCC, T&TA team, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection, validation, and reporting.

They will be responsible for overseeing data validation, conducting complex data analyses, and developing reports and dashboards. The Senior Data Analysis Task Lead/Manager will also ensure the effective use of data to inform program decisions and improve data quality across the CCDF program.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee the validation of all data submitted in CARS and coordinate findings with the T&TA team
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc statistical analyses using standard reports and analytic tools like Tableau
- Define new standard report specifications and validate the design of new reports
- Develop and maintain dashboards to assist OCC staff in tracking compliance with CCDF requirements
- Provide training to the T&TA team on the use of new reports and dashboards
- Ensure accurate and timely data extracts for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop documentation for public-use data sets and assist in their publication
- Collaborate with the OCC and other stakeholders to identify data analysis needs and priorities
- Monitor the effectiveness of data analysis activities and implement improvements as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in a federal or state program context
- Strong understanding of data management, statistical analysis, and reporting tools
- Provide high level expertise in applicable public health disciplines to collect, abstract, code, analyze, or interpret scientific data contained within information systems and databases related to public health
- Provides high level expertise in human services disciplines to collect, analyze, and/or interpret data contained within information systems and databases.
- Conducts data analyses using analytical tools, like SAS and SPSS, and visualization tools, like Tableau
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of data analysts
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of federal reporting requirements and data quality standards
- Proficiency in using data analysis software and tools
