Responsibilities
As the Benefits Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and analyzing all benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, disability, and more. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the company's 401(k) plan and collaborating with existing advisors.
Overseeing benefits enrollment and administration processes, including annual open enrollment, qualifying life events, and new hire orientations.
Continuously evaluating benefits plans to ensure alignment with business needs, cost-effectiveness, competitiveness, and employee satisfaction.
Collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with internal processes, regulations, RFPs, and contract renewals.
Managing the company's leave of absence program in compliance with state and federal laws.
Cultivating strong partnerships with vendors to ensure effective management of benefit programs.
Overseeing all compliance-related activities, filings, reports, and audits.
Serving as an escalation resource for employee benefit issues.
Managing employee learning programs and perks platform.
Developing and implementing effective communication strategies to drive awareness and understanding of compensation and benefit programs.
Managing compensation practices including benchmarking, new hire offers, promotions, and merit adjustments.
Executing performance management processes, including annual merit processes and ongoing goal setting.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in benefits administration and compliance.
Experience With Self-funded Benefit Plans Preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Paylocity and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with performance management programs.
General knowledge of Human Resources and Benefits practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Customer-focused with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
