Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced bilingual health coach fluent in both Spanish and English to join our dynamic team. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals. West Coast hours are preferred to support our diverse user base.

The Role Encompasses:

  • Facilitating the Kaia coaching experience; guiding users to achieve their health goals, responding to their individual needs, and using intrinsic methodologies to support them in gaining clarity.
  • Conducting one-on-one telephonic and chat-based health coaching sessions in both Spanish and English.
  • Multiple touchpoints with each coachee across various types of communication channels while driving retention.
  • Supporting end users in navigating the Kaia app from a technology standpoint.
  • Documenting coach session notes explicitly within the Kaia platform for proper record-keeping in line with that required by any "medical device" or service.
  • Using the Kaia Coaching Philosophy as a basis for effective and meaningful coaching, including individually tailored SMART goals that reinforce automaticity of Kaia as a habit.
  • Supporting customer success by identifying the participant's needs and relaying program details and requirements to elicit new thinking and habit change.
  • Being highly knowledgeable about Kaia products, therapies, and types of support offered.
  • Supporting warm live transfer calls from partner referral systems.
  • Assisting with developing coaching protocols and messaging and providing QA for product development of our Spanish content.

Your Profile:

  • You are inquisitive and enjoy gathering feedback and finding areas of opportunity for continual improvement.
  • As a coach, you are naturally empathetic and easily create camaraderie with your coachees while remaining objective and able to guide them through processing whatever may come up in a session.
  • You have a drive to be a self-starter and an eagerness and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-growing environment on a digital forum.
  • Process-focused and detail oriented with strong organization, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • You thrive in a team environment that lifts each other up and collaborates together and across other teams to continue driving the service, as well as the product itself.
  • You are a learner and are always thirsty for expanding your knowledge base through personal development and team enrichment opportunities.
  • Being part of the front line of contact with our users, you have excellent communication skills across both telephonic and chat-based sessions and receive best-in-class customer satisfaction ratings.
  • You have an ample amount of patience with coaching clients due to the unique and extensive process of developing and implementing new habits and behaviors.

Role Requirements:

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).
  • Experience with email, client management tools, smartphone and App-based technologies
  • Health Coach Certification (or currently enrolled in a Health Coach Certification program. Prefer that certification is from a NBHWC accredited program)
  • Degree in Health Sciences
  • Have the ability to work remotely and privately
  • Predictable and reliable attendance
  • Authorization to work in the US required

Contract Type:

This is a full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate both coach and client schedules. West Coast hours are preferred.
