Billing & AR Specialist - Excel

The Billing & AR Specialist will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable and billing process for the company. The position will also involve financial analysis, customer service, auditing, and customer facing to insurance clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of excel, excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Position Overview

The Billing & AR Specialist is responsible for accurately maintaining billing information in the accounting system, ensuring that customers are billed in a timely and accurate manner. This includes maintaining customer accounts, reconciling accounts, and researching and resolving discrepancies. The Billing & AR Specialist will also be responsible for providing financial analysis and developing reports to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable and billing processes with utilization of Excel.
• Monitor customer accounts for past due invoices and follow up with customers.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain customer accounts in the accounting system.
• Provide customer service as needed.
• Prepare financial analyses and reports for management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Billing.
• Strong Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, Vlookup).
• Excellent customer service, reconciliation, auditing, analysis, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
