Job Summary

BioLegend (a division of Revvity, Inc.) has an opening for a self-motivated individual with production experience in a fast moving and dynamic environment to join our Proteogenomics team! The biotechnician will be an integral member of a team, that manufactures and provides high-plex oligonucleotide conjugated antibodies panels to enable studies for novel applications in precision medicine, oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and stem cell research.

This position will report to a team lead and will ensure the highest quality of our finalized antibody products. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment for you to enhance your knowledge in the biotechnology industry! In this position you will perform column chromatography manually and via automation, troubleshooting of problematic errors, continue to improve methodologies for efficiency, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s, and cross train on a variety of other supporting tasks.

Essential Functions

• Under proper supervision, perform antibody buffer exchange, formulation and fill for on-market products and supporting new product introduction under ISO13485:2016.
• Execute plans for equipment validation and continuous process improvement
• Operate and help maintain manufacturing equipment including lyophilizer, automated liquid handler, labelers and others.
• Label and maintain inventory
• Follow SOPs, batch records, and other compliance related documentation
• Assist other employees and supervisor with basic lab activities such as: inventory, housekeeping, equipment cleaning, preventative maintenance, and calibration
• Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, or other related fields
• 1+ years of experience with utilizing automatic liquid handler or robotics, and performing formulation & fill
  
  

Preferred Qualifications – Education And Experience

• 3 years of biotech-related manufacturing experience, including processing work orders and inventory management
• Experience with buffer preparation, dialysis, centrifugation, automated liquid handlers
• Working experience in a manufacturing or product development setting in compliance with ISO regulatory requirements
• Must have the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively (oral and written) and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office products

The base salary range for this full-time position is$55,000 - 60,000.This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
