Bookkeeper - Part Time

This position will play a crucial role in managing the financial records of Chosen. This role will maintain accurate and up-to-date records. They will perform essential tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger maintenance. This role requires someone with attention to detail, proficiency with accounting software and is able to work independently with minimal supervision. This position will be approximately 10 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

  • Completes weekly and monthly bookkeeping, reconciliation, and bank account management
  • Coordinates accounts payable and accounts receivables, including client billing, contract billing, payroll, expense payments, etc.
  • Coordinates with departments regarding financial reporting needs
  • Completes monthly Board financial reports and cash flow
  • Assists with budget and audit completion as assigned
  • Completes other financial tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • College graduate preferred or equivalent job experience
  • 2-3 years bookkeeping experience (nonprofit strongly preferred) with understanding of GAAP
  • Proven experience working with Office 365 and QuickBooks Online
