Branch Manager

Summary

Job Description:

In this role you will be responsible for the effective execution of the overall branch sales, service, and operational goals.

Required Experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Deliver management and administration of the branch to ensure that budget goals are met and to ensure compliance with all banking laws and regulations.

Regularly and customarily direct the work of the staff to effectively identify the financial needs of our customers.

Provide on-site leadership, motivation, and direction for the branch staff to include acquisition, retention and expansion of customers and prospects.

Conducts branch sales meetings & huddles.

Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers.

Generates customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring branch staff adhere to customer service standards.

Evaluates credit requests, prepares budgets and determines trends in a given marketplace.

Actively participates in the community in order to market and promote Bank products and services.

Ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise branch staff in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Focus on the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of staff; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.

Education And/or Experience

High School or equivalent with five to six (5-6) years experience, or Associates Degree or equivalent with three to five (3-5) years progressively responsible related experience, demonstrated skills, in-depth knowledge and general understanding of functional area. Banking/financial center management strongly preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with an ability to quickly learn other bank related programs.
