Brand Manager

We are looking for a seasoned Brand Manager to expand the CAVA experience to even more people through an innovative pipeline of category-defining products. This role will lead category strategies, develop integrated marketing programs, and work closely with cross-functional partners, including Culinary, Creative, Media, Digital, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.

The best candidate for this role is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in brand management, product development, and market analysis who is deeply passionate about food, people and culture. This role requires a blend of strategic development, creativity, and analytical skills to drive brand growth and achieve business targets. A deep appreciation for Mediterranean cuisine and culture is essential to inspire and captivate our audiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies for the beverage and ancillary categories.
  • Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges within each category.
  • Create and manage category plans and pipeline, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Develop brand positioning, key messaging, and features for product innovation.
  • Prepare and present regular updates and reports on brand performance and strategic initiatives
  • Lead the end-to-end development and launch of new products, from concept ideation to in-market execution.
  • Collaborate and partner with culinary, operations and marketing channel leads from brief through launch to ensure successful product launches.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend improvements based on consumer feedback and market analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, making recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Develop and manage marketing program budgets.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging idea sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Develop creative briefs and execute local and national integrated marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Lead campaign development process for marketing materials, including in-restaurant signage, packaging, social, digital content, and paid media.
  • Manage relationships with cross-functional partners and channel leads to ensure cohesive and effective brand communication and consistency.
  • Define goals/KPIs, and measure, track, and report campaign performance and key learnings

The Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years integrated marketing/brand management for lifestyle brands
  • 3-5+ years developing business and marketing strategy utilizing data & analytics
  • 5+ years end-to-end marketing/campaign planning and execution, including project management, leading cross-functional teams, and briefing and partnering with creative and agency partners
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities to drive improvements and innovation
  • Translate and drive prioritization of business objectives and requirements
  • Communicate to business stakeholders and project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Excellence in communication and timeline management
  • Work independently, be self-motivated, and be engaged
  • Communicate effectively, both technically and generally
  • Show strong analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Restaurant/QSR, retail, and/or CPG experience preferred
  • Beverage Category experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-growth, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Passion for culinary and hospitality/service industry required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
