Title: Business Analyst

Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

We're seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Study business functions, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats to determine operational objectives.
  • Analyze requirements, construct workflow charts and diagrams, and write specifications to design new computer programs.
  • Enhance systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
  • Identify problems and recommend controls by writing improved procedures.
  • Define project requirements, establish project budget, and monitor project progress.
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop alternative solutions with cost/benefit analyses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional negotiating skills.
  • Proficiency with ARIS for business process mapping (preferred).
  • Proficiency with MS Visio for business process mapping (required).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in business writing.
  • Experience in analyzing agency-specific metrics and KPIs to reduce operating costs.
  • Familiarity with BPMN standards of MTA for business process mapping.
  • Experience in Business Process Modeling (& management) with ARIS or MS Visio preferred.
