We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and a proven ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements. This remote position requires excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for development teams.
Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Develop and maintain documentation, including use cases, process flows, and business requirements documents (BRDs).
Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure that solutions meet business needs.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, acting as a bridge to ensure mutual understanding.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks related to business processes and project implementation.
Support post-implementation reviews to ensure that projects meet the defined objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency with business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the finance, and payments domain.
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification.
Experience working with remote teams across different time zones.
