Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team in Seattle as a Business Analyst at KPFF! This multi-faceted position offers an exciting opportunity to work on data-driven projects that contribute to our long-term growth. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with advanced Excel skills and a passion for technology integration. While expertise in Microsoft Fabric is not required, you will have the opportunity to learn its intricacies, support our migration efforts, and eventually become the subject matter expert in this area. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive Business Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex business needs and develop innovative, data-driven solutions that propel KPFF forward.
  • Expert Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed business requirements, process workflows, and end-user procedures.
  • Microsoft Fabric Migration: Participate in the migration of our legacy data warehouse to Microsoft Fabric. Become the go-to expert in this emerging technology and aid the organization through this transformational change.
  • Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Utilize your advanced Excel skills and PowerBI expertise to generate insightful reports and dashboards that inform critical business decisions.
  • Innovate with Low-Code Solutions: Partner with third-party consultants to develop no-code/low-code applications, enhancing internal workflows and increasing efficiency.
  • ERP System Enhancement: Participate in ERP system upgrades, from project planning to user acceptance testing and post-implementation support, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Seamless Integration: Aid with the integration of third-party software with KPFF data sources, ensuring a cohesive and streamlined tech ecosystem.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics/reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VBA Macros, and lookup functions.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, PowerApps, DAX, or SQL is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Duties are typically performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table
  • Ability to actively engage with a computer and communicate over the telephone or virtual meeting platforms.
  • May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.
  • Full-time on-site in our Downtown Seattle office, with the option for remote days following onboarding and training.

Compensation:

The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate with 3-5 years of experience is $85,000 - $95,000. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center. During the interview process, we'll provide detailed information and address any questions you may have about the overall compensation package and benefits.
