Description

Business Analyst acts as a liaison between Client Services and IT assessing client needs, reviewing processes, and documenting requirements. You ensure that client materials are evaluated thoroughly to identify any gaps and provide comprehensive requirements. You build expertise in client data formats and software, adapt document designs to meet goals, and manage deadlines effectively. You participate in client meetings, create detailed notes, and provide feedback on priorities. You also support internal teams and clients, maintain training documentation, and handle internal improvement initiatives, contributing to the company's growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, or participate in client-facing implementation and enhancement projects
  • Analyze client documentation to understand data and business logic in or to write business specifications with an end goal of a clean implementation conforming with internal system standards.
  • Convert non-standard requirements into internal specifications for new system features.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure system functionality meets business requirements and standards.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients to validate system functionality and address any issues before full deployment.
  • Develop expertise in healthcare, financial, and energy industries, and the associated client solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Requirements

  • College degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a related role
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent follow-through, with a high sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with any of the following software: MySQL, database queries, scripting, Object-Oriented Development, multi-record data files (JSON, XML, CSV, etc.)
  • Experience in Quadient Inspire, Planet Press, OpenText Dialogue, or InDesign
  • Industry background in Healthcare, Finance, or Energy
