Business Consultant

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly skilled Business Consultant to join our client’s business systems transformation program team. A successful Business Consultant will play a critical role in determining the optimal business processes for a unique setup where a business unit operates within the legal entity of another entity in a different ERP system. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of business process design (particularly with finance & procurement), business integration strategies, and ERP systems.

This remote, contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization and may require some international travel.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand the current business processes within the existing ERP system.
• Develop and document options around business processes to achieve the desired outcomes for statutory financial consolidation into the local entity, while maintaining autonomy in day-to-day operations.
• Assess resource impact to the local entity
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Identify and recommend best practices for integrating and harmonizing processes between the two entities.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Provide guidance on change management and advise on the to transition to the new processes.
• Coordinate with the technical team to ensure accurate knowledge transfer of the proposed processes.
• Role is expected to work highly autonomously and must be self-driven to achieve the desired outcomes.
• Effectively communicate with C-level stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong in English + French language is highly desired
• Strong proficiency in business process modeling tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to ERP systems and business operations.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Business Consultant or in a similar role. Experience with France is highly desired.
• Proven experience with SAP ERP and transformational ERP programs.
• Strong understanding of finance business process analysis, design, and optimization.
• Experience working with multi-entity setups and complex organizational structures.
• Knowledge of integration strategies for different ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously & collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Project management experience.
