A leading manufacturer and designer of innovative surge protection products for the street and roadway lighting industry, based in Pinellas County, FL, is looking for a qualified sales professional to contribute to the growth of our domestic and international business by developing new business and managing and expanding the business with our existing customers.
Essential Functions:
Achieve sales objectives by managing and growing existing account relationships
Identify, pursue and develop new accounts by prospecting and utilizing existing resources
Providing product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes
Provide technical support and training to account base
Learn and utilize company database including entering detailed contact and project information daily
Provide monthly sales reports, forecasts, and detailed pipeline reports
Position Requirements:
3-5 years sales experience in a related industry
Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals and achieve sales quotas
Demonstrated success and discipline in inside sales / telesales
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
Knowledge of the lighting and/or electrical industry or a background in lighting or electrical products would be considered an asset.
