Overview

ACRS’ Patient Recruitment division, Clinical Site Services (CSSi), is recruiting a motivated sales professional who is seeking an opportunity to make a significant impact in a growth-driven, entrepreneurial, private equity backed organization. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to sell digital advertising solutions to clinical research sites needing to recruit patients for clinical trials. This role will require being able to identify potential selling targets through market research efforts, identifying the key decision makers, sending professionally written and compelling emails to prospective clients, and diligently following up. Additionally, the Associate will schedule and participate in meetings with prospects, create and send work orders, and track sales activity. This individual contributor role will work closely with sales leadership to ensure efficient and effective selling efforts are deployed in a manner that promotes sustainable growth.

Essential Functions

  • Research, identify, qualify, and tier clinical trial sites in the US and Canada for fit with CSSi’s digital patient recruitment service offering
  • Reach out (phone and email) and engage clinical trial sites with targeted messages about CSSi and how we can add value to their clinical trial enrollment objectives
  • Write sales emails to both individual prospects and through bulk email distribution services
  • Support the development and implementation of lead generation campaigns (digital advertising, etc.)
  • Create simple contracts for new projects
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records within the salesforce.com database, for accounts (active and targeted)
    • This includes items such as account profiles, individual contact details, opportunities, and communications
  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and optimal customer satisfaction
  • Work with business intelligence platforms and other internal digital tools to enhance your ability to find and advance new opportunities
  • Maintain current professional level of knowledge across relevant therapeutics areas and within the patient recruitment segment
  • Participate in regular updates to management and the Business Development team of activities, with urgent and important issues being shared with management as they arise
  • Maintain communications with operational team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned
Skill and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in patient recruitment or clinical trial site experience is preferred
  • Strong Prospecting skills and aptitude for sales
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to research to uncover new client prospects
