Job Title: Business Development Manager - C5ISR, NIWC PAC (Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific)
Location: West Coast Locations Strongly Preferred
Ideal candidates possess experience and knowledge of Military C5ISR Programs, in the context of the Defense Acquisition Lifecycle and also in the end-use of military C5ISR systems. Ideal candidates will possess either 5-years of military/civil servant service OR 5 years of sales/business development experience in the technology sector. We are seeking a humble team player with unmatched competitive drive, critical thought abilities, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Represent ADS with program offices and respective contracting offices across all federal services and agencies assigned
Research and develop business within assigned program office and related accounts
Identify program needs and objectives
Identify initial purchases and priorities, manufacturers, product categories, and technologies
Identify preferred and/or optimal means of procurement
Identify best value IT, partner suppliers
Engage and establish long term sales and service solutions
Provide value to partner suppliers/resellers and OEMs.
Understand the Defense Acquisition Lifecycle and provide solutions within existing processes
Create new solutions in response to market changes
Help structure and grow program development business unit
Achieve annual sales target revenue and gross profit
Requirements
5 years of military/civil servant service OR
5 years of sales/business development experience in the technology sector
2 years of experience with government programs, either in sales or development
2 years of experience in government contracts & procedures
2 years of experience with MS Office
Bachelor's Degree, Military/DoD/First Responder experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
Travel: up to 50%
