Business Operations Analyst

Evoke is seeking a Process & Governance Analyst to join our team!


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Process & Governance (P&G) Analyst is a self-motivated individual responsible for collaborating with Evoke’s internal business operations teams to define, develop, and improve operational processes, policies, roles, and performance measurements. The P&G Analyst utilizes their understanding of information management, metrics, and business analysis to solve problems and deliver results. A key function of the P&G Analyst is to examine processes holistically to understand the impact of changes on people, strategy, systems, and operations, and to present process change recommendations to stakeholders within Evoke. Involved with business processes across the organization, the P&G Analyst works with program management, IT, administration, human capital, project delivery, business strategy, and growth.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide expertise in process improvement and automation for business operations execution activities.
  2. Perform gap analyses against standards, create action plans, and recommend improvement strategies.
  3. Analyze operational processes and conduct current state analyses, gap analyses, benchmarking, and best practice identification.
  4. Establish and maintain key program manager relationships to ensure consistent value and quality delivery.
  5. Interview process participants to determine operational requirements and objectives.
  6. Maintain and track the organization's Corrective Action process.
  7. Document process workflows and create visual diagrams as needed.
  8. Review work products scheduled for delivery to customers as necessary.
  9. Support and maintain Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), International Standard Organization (ISO), and other certifications.
  • Database Management
  1. Regularly update databases of risks, tasks, and program information. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  2. Introduce or develop proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform to enhance data management and process automation.
  • Information Management & Communication
  1. Create communication plans, briefings, status reports, newsletters, and materials for team members and executive stakeholders.
  2. Develop and maintain internal Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), training material, FAQs, and How-To guides.
  3. Edit and update intranet content.
  4. Lead events that enhance and maximize Evoke's success as needed.
  • IT Process Support
  1. Support internal IT systems by handling routine inquiries and issues, focusing on user account creation, deletion, and asset management.


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-4 years of experience analyzing business requirements and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing clear and concise documentation, SOPs, user guides, and related materials to increase user awareness and provide critical information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint and Planner.
  • Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and Senior Leadership daily.
  • Demonstrated use of good personal and professional judgment and discretion.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities, reacting quickly, and performing effectively under deadlines.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to interview, explain, present, and guide/persuade to achieve desired outcomes.


BENEFICIAL BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Business Analyst, Project Management, and/or Agile Certification (e.g., PMI-PBA, CAPM, CSM, SAFe Agilist)
  • CMMI Certification (e.g., Certified CMMI Associate)
  • ISO experience (e.g., 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2018, ISO 27001:2022, ISO 14001:2015)
