Payment Strategic Partnerships

Team is responsible for enabling customer and supplier payment services under Company. Team is currently looking to augment our Payment Strategic Partnerships team. And in this strategic role, as a Manager you will be responsible for the performance of a portfolio of payment partners including issuers, processors, acquirers and networks.

What You'll Do

Payment Industry Intelligence, Innovations and Trends

Stay abreast of commercial, regulatory and innovative trends in the payment industry, especially in the areas you're assigned as the payment expert

Use your long-standing payments experience and payment partner relationships to advocate for scalable platform solutions within complex frameworks

Ensure our payment business benefits from our partners' expertise, capabilities and innovations Strategic Alignment with External Partners/vendors

Drive strategic alignment between payment vendors/partners and our teams including marketing, advertisement, banking, legal and our products

Serve as Company go-to person for the payment partners to ensure holistic engagement at the enterprise level Define and Execute Partners/vendors Strategy

Clear understanding the partner's strategy and how they align with our Strategy & Vision. Proactively identify opportunities that drive direct financial impact and advance payment platform for us.

Set and deliver partner strategy at region, payment method and payment method levels

Calibrate partner/vendor strategy roadmap behind our goals and priorities

Partner with vendors to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of prioritized initiatives

Maximize Partner/vendor Performance – Increase partner/vendor performance while maximizing financial benefits for our company through:-

Transparent and effective business reviews including QBRs and weekly calls

Conduct partner/vendor benchmarking, RFI, RFP or similar kind

Perform contract negotiations and lead all aspects of contract performance

Executive-level escalations and resolution for partner/vendor issues that have substantial impact

Establish critical metrics to constantly find opportunities to optimize partner/vendor performance

Who You Are

In-depth industry knowledge of e-Commerce payments

Functional experience in commercial contract management

Working knowledge-base of merchant onboarding/offboarding including legal entity structures in managing merchant accounts

Experience in strategic partner/vendor management with a history of managing complex enterprise-wide commercial and operational business initiatives including program migrations

Proven successes in stakeholder relations and strategic program management

Navigate through complexities, leading with simplification and executing with agility

Experience working with or for a payment processor, acquiring bank, payment card brand or issuing bank strongly preferred

Experience in independently leading partners in an ecommerce or IT services environment

Payment or travel industry knowledge and execution experience, understand economic drivers of each player in the industry value chain

Proficiency in multiple languages preferred

Expertise in one of the following areas would be a strong plus: B-to-B payments, Airline and GDS payments, B-to-B or C-to-B Disbursement.
