SharePoint Admin

A SharePoint Admin at FIBT ultimately gets to improve the workday of their fellow employees by solving sticky problems and making their work easier for them. You’ll do this primarily by working with the Business Analyst team and stakeholders to analyze processes, select the appropriate tools from the M365 suite, and then build a solution that achieves the desired outcome. The Business Solutions team also develops and maintains the SharePoint intranet, so you’ll be assisting with regular admin tasks along with site/page creation and feature development.

This is an in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Solution Strategist, Business Analysts, and business unit stakeholders on the design, requirements, and implementation of new workflows, applications, automations, and solutions.
  • Perform standard SharePoint Site Collection Administration duties such as creating and managing sites, libraries, lists, workflows; managing features, functions, security groups and user permissions; managing content types, columns, and content management.
  • Create and maintain documentation and code comments on developed solutions.
  • Manage SharePoint sites within Teams and OneDrive.
  • Ensure platform is secure and meets FIBT security requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues or malfunctions.
  • Provide SharePoint support and end user training.
  • Review usage and activity reports to make adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
  • Keep up to date with SharePoint feature enhancements and deprecations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of SharePoint Administration experience with knowledge of SharePoint tools, including Power Automate workflows and SharePoint forms, for tasks is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as Power BI, PowerShell and Office 365 a plus.
  • Experience as a member of a technical project team, from design through delivery.
  • Understands technical and functional Microsoft design requirements.
