Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Calibration Technicians for a few departments Electrical Calibration, RF Calibration, Temperature/ Humidity Calibration, and Physical/Dimensional Calibration. As a Calibration Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our clients' measurement instruments. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
RF Calibration Technician:
Calibrate a wide variety of RF/Microwaves disciplines including but not limited to Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc., with RF capability up to 50GHz.
Ensure measurement accuracy for measurement and test equipment in the RF domain.
Electrical Calibration Technician:
Calibrate a wide variety of electronic, test, diagnostic, and general-purpose instruments such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Hipot Tester, Frequency Counters, Power Supplies, etc.
Perform calibration to ensure accurate functioning of electrical equipment.
Temperature / Humidity Calibration Technician:
Calibrate a wide variety of Environmental Chambers, Ovens, Furnaces, thermometers, hygrometers, Thermocouples, RTDs, etc.
Maintain equipment related to temperature and humidity measurements to ensure accurate calibration.
Physical / Dimensional Calibration Technician:
Calibrate a wide variety of Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Gauge blocks, Optical Comparators, Surace roughness testers, Thread gauges, etc.
Ensure the accuracy of calibration by maintaining equipment used for physical and dimensional measurements
Responsibilities:
Calibrate primary, secondary, and/or working calibration standards across respective disciplines.
Assist technicians with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of precision equipment.
Identify and correct measurement errors as applicable.
Prepare comprehensive calibration reports and certificates for documentation purposes.
Report on activities and obstacles to upper management as needed.
Perform other duties as deemed necessary to support the calibration process.
All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.
Requirements and Skills:
Calibration training is required
Military PMEL / TMDE / DOD training is strongly preferred
Experience in calibration and working with precision measurement equipment
Proven experience working under ISO 17025 strongly preferred
Local travel may be required to perform on-site calibration at the customer facility
Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing error-free work.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
