Decision Information Resources, Inc., a private research, evaluation, and technical support company, is currently seeking motivated, detail-oriented, individuals to work as Telephone Interviewers in our Houston-based call center. Interviewers will work to contact, gain the cooperation of, and interview research study sample members. The successful candidate must complete a paid training course and pass a certification test on knowledge of survey system procedures and protocols.
The ideal candidate has previous telephone interviewing experience and can work within acceptable error ranges to collect accurate, consistent, and reliable data following project specific training instructions. Experience in the survey research industry is preferred. Candidates with the ability to read and speak both Spanish and English fluently are particularly encouraged to apply.
Position Type
This position is part-time and must be conducted in person. Candidates are expected to work an average of 20 - 28 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work shifts between the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday thru Thursday; 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Fridays; and 9:00 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays.

Must be able to obtain Federal Security Clearance
Excellent reading skills - clear enunciation and a good vocabulary
Professional telephone etiquette
Strong people skills - ability to communicate professionally with a variety of respondents nationwide
Intermediate PC proficiency
Call center interviewing experience - preferably at least one year
Survey research experience a plus
Strong work ethic - Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
