Baret Scholars is a selective global education and travel program that takes college-aged students to 7 different regions (North America, Europe, LATAM, Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and East Asia) over the course of a year. Our program will arm Scholars with academic skills and hands-on experience to accelerate their professional and academic careers. Position Overview
The Baret Scholars Campus Ambassador Program aims to engage college students to represent and promote Baret Scholars through local events, networking on campus, enhancing student engagement, social media chatter, and supporting the student body through various interactive platforms. Specifically, the Campus Ambassador Program seeks to:
Promote Baret on Campus: Increase awareness of Baret Scholars on university/college campus
Recruit Students: Identify and recruit college students to apply and enroll in Baret
Provide Meaningful Experience: Equip ambassadors with valuable skills in communication, leadership, and event management
In addition to earning great resume-building experience, Baret Campus Ambassadors will have the opportunity to work directly with world class leaders, create dynamic student recruitment campaigns, and embark on this incredible global journey themselves with a robust scholarship.
Key Responsibilities
Student Recruitment & Outreach:
Identify top student organizations (international student groups, Model UN, etc.) and school departments (office of career services, student life, academic advising, international program office, alumni association)
Organize and host in-person and online info sessions and webinars about Baret on campus
Participate in gap year and study abroad events and fairs on or near campus
Distribute student recruitment materials (flyers, brochures, digital content) to relevant student organizations, school departments, etc.
Leverage social media to promote Baret and engage with the student body
Serve as a liaison between Baret and college/students
Recruiting
Identify and encourage college students to apply and enroll in Baret Scholars
Provide guidance and support to students throughout the application process
