Job Summary

You will have the ability to collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Field Operations, Accounting and Regulatory groups, to meet business targets in the development of capital expenditure forecasts, tracking progress of the plan and implementing those plans across the organization. This individual increasingly provides contributions to capital budget development, monitors the implementation of those budgets, and reports the business results.

Essential Functions

  • Collects and maintains data to support capital project and portfolio tracking, benchmarking studies, ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Provide data and analysis to support for infrastructure filings and rate cases.
  • Provides support for data requests from various regulatory agencies.
  • Assists with efforts to develop short- and long-term financial forecast updates in a manner consistent with established guidelines and processes.
  • Develop, populate, and report out to stakeholders, relevant performance benchmarks and scorecards.
  • Supports analytical evaluations and reporting of YTD actual financial performance against historical and budgeted performance.
  • Collects and organizes data to understand cost structures and determines impact of project scope changes and sourcing decisions.
  • Proficient user of the financial systems used by the organization to plan, execute, and report out our capital investment performance.
  • Performs essential functions with minimal oversight and review.


Education Description

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting from an accredited college, university.


Experience

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of utility or business experience.
