Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to support investment decisions.
Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and financial news to provide timely insights and recommendations.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market conditions, investment opportunities, and industry developments.
Financial Modeling and Valuation:
Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, forecast financial performance, and assess risks.
Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, pitch books, and other marketing materials.
Transaction Support:
Support the execution of debt and equity financing transactions, including due diligence, documentation, and coordination with external advisors.
Assist in the preparation and review of transaction documents, term sheets, and legal agreements.
Conduct financial and operational due diligence on potential investment targets.
Risk Management:
Monitor and assess the risk profiles of existing and potential investments.
Develop and implement risk management strategies and tools to mitigate financial and operational risks.
Prepare risk assessment reports and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support capital markets activities.
Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and advisors.
Participate in meetings, presentations, and negotiations with internal and external parties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
4+ years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Excellent understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
