Cash Operations Admin/Bank Teller
Working with a top fine arts institution in NYC hiring for a part time (weekend work, $25/hr) onsite at the museum working an administrative/operations function in their cash department.
More details below, this is 8AM-4PM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY (will be a week of training half days during the week onsite for a few days leading up to this, but otherwise will just be weekends ongoing through end of year)
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Flushing Daily Retail and Visitors Experience cash bags
• Rolling and packaging of coins
• Counting cash and verifying/documenting the data for the Retail, Membership and Visitors Experience daily deposits.
• Filling empty cash bags with appropriate starting funds
• Daily Distribution of cash bags to Retail and Visitors Experience
• Accepting check deposits from various departments
• Preparation of cash reports and receipts
• Assisting in verification of cash deposits sent to bank via Brinks.
Experience and Skills:
,: • Availability to work weekends
• Experience with handling large sums of cash
• Bank teller experience preferred • Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
