Center Director of Preschool
Job Description
lifePanache offers high quality educational programming for infants, preschoolers and school-aged students. Our goal is to provide an enriched learning experience where each student learns through play and academics at a pace suited to their learning style. lifePanache is seeking a responsible, energetic, and effective Site Director.

Our goal is to provide an enriched learning experience where each student learns through play and academics at a pace suited to their learning style. lifePanache is seeking a responsible, energetic, and effective Site Director.
Applicants are required to have:
- BA/BS or AA degree preferred, preferably with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
- Meet California CCLD requirements for site director
- Teaching permit preferred
- 5 years of ECE in a child care setting, preferably with a variety of age groups
- 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a child care setting
- Ensure a healthy and safe environment for lifePanache students, clients and staff, including detailed understanding of COViD19 protocols
- Meet or exceed site management standards and deliverables by delivering on enrollment goals, licensing and fire compliance, client satisfaction, professional development for all staff, site income and controllable expense management, staff development and student and staff record-keepingPromote and project a positive company image
- Manage all daily operational responsibilities and goals, including staff supervision, addressing student and family needs, facility and operational maintenance, etc.
- Support and promote an engaging child experience using best practice and ECE knowledge
- Support and foster an engaging parent, community and team experience
- MS Office (Word, Excel), MS Publisher
- Extensive knowledge of CCLD Title 22 and applicability
- Effective communication skills (oral and written, grammar, English)
- People skills (ability to impart positive attitudes, ability to motivate, conflict management and resolution, diplomacy, excellent customer service)
- Possession of a valid CA Drivers' License and access to an automobile
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Maintain 16 hours Preventative Health certification
- Mandatory Harassment training certification every 2 years
- California Mandated Reporter certification every 2 years
