Title: Change Management Consultant

Start date: August 1st

Duration: 6 months, extensions likely.

Location: Ideally local to Seattle, mostly working remotely with occasional trips to Everett and Olympia

Pay: $60 - 70/hr



Day-to-Day

An employer is looking for a Change Management Consultant. The Performance Excellence team is looking for someone to act as an OCM Consultant to strategic, operational, and continuous improvement projects and initiatives which require significant changes for employees in order to be effective. This Consultant is also a strategic, trusted advisor to internal departments and leaders in order to help grow change management capability across the organization and support business strategy. The Consultant also helps support more junior change practitioners through onboarding, training and mentoring. Finally, they own goals and objectives related to the growth of the Change Management Office overall.

  • This person will support the Digital Workplace Transformation project. They will be supporting IT - client engineering, data governance, cyber security - to support M365, Windows 11, OneDrive for Business.
  • This person will be generating best end-user experience by meeting with department leadership and SMEs to understand what is being delivered, advising, and developing OCM materials.



Must-Haves

  • 7+ years of experience successfully leading multi-disciplined projects + initiatives
  • Prosci - ADKAR: working on a project that uses all phases of ADKAR to deliver end-user experience that aligns to project milestones.
  • Expertise utilizing high-involvement process improvement or change management techniques + tools.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as a part of a team to drive results.



Plusses

  • Familiarity/experience with ringed deployment strategy.
  • Previous experience with process improvement/process mapping.
