  • You have experience in industry-standard software such as Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 5.
  • You have a familiarity with all stages of the character creation pipeline including sculpting, lowpoly modeling, UV mapping, texture painting, PBR material setup, and asset implementation.
  • You interpret and push concept designs to the next level while accounting for technical and design constraints such as poly count, texture memory limits, topology and metrics.
  • You are able to make design decisions when interpreting concepts should things need to change for our outfit metrics.
  • You utilize artistic techniques and processes to define and achieve the product's visual style and benchmarks
  • You are a team player. You are willing to suggest and execute ways to improve quality whilst maintaining the aesthetic of Palia.

Nice to Have:

  • Efficiency for Tasks: You possess strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Learning and Development: You participate in group asset reviews to give and receive peer feedback on all aspects of the character art process.
